A little bit about me...
State Sen. Russell Prescott (R-District 23)
Russell Prescott first served in the New Hampshire Senate from 2000 to 2004 and was re-elected in 2010, 2012, and 2015. The Kingston resident represents District 23, which includes Brentwood, Chester, Danville, East Kingston, Epping, Exeter, Fremont, Kingston, and Sandown. For the 2013-14 legislative session, he is the Chairman of both the Energy and Natural Resources Committee; and the Rules, Enrolled Bills and Internal Affairs Committee.
For nearly 30 years, Senator Prescott has been the co-owner and vice-president of R.E. Prescott Co., a wholesale distributor and manufacturer of water systems. The company, founded in 1954 by his father, employs nearly 40 people and has operated in the same Exeter building since 1963. Sen. Prescott is the former chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, and is active in promoting job creation in his district and statewide. Prescott has brought job fairs to his district, and champions job-promoting legislation that streamlines regulation and increases educational opportunities for those seeking employment in our state’s emerging work fields.
Prescott is a practicing professional engineer and holds several patents. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida. Russell and his wife, Susan, have been married for 32 years and have five grown children.

In Kingston is a great, old-fashioned ice cream shop called "Memories." My children have worked here, and they make their own ice cream. Delicious!
